The Raiders jumped out to an early lead over the Jets and never relinquished it. The Jets briefly made a game of it, with some help from the zebras, but in the end the Raiders were too strong for the weak Jets.
Three-and-outs by both teams got us started off. Then the Raiders got ball back and did what they were expected to do from the opening kickoff -- they drove for a touchdown.
Michael Crabtree got things going with a 26-yard catch from Derek Carr. And the two connected to finish it off, with a 2-yard pass to Crabtree for the leaping grab and a 7-0 lead.
