Raiders offense awakens in overtime

The offense was offensive, and had only one first down in the second half.

“That’s why you keep playing until the clock says 0:00,” receiver Michael Crabtree said.

Crabtree, quarterback Derek Carr and company overcame five penalties on the opening drive of overtime and set up Sebastian Janikowski for the game-winning 31-yard field goal. Crabtree showed some nice moves on a 3rd-and-6 conversion, and Seth Roberts came down with a 33-yard catch.

The passing game felt the effects of a short week, as Amari Cooper didn’t play a third of the snaps because of a sore foot that has bothered him for weeks.
