Taking a look at how Raiders’ free agent signings have fared at the bye week after a 1-5 start (players listed in order of highest salary cap numbers):
WR Jordy Nelson
Signed: March 15, two years, $14.2 million. Age: 33. Cap charge: $7,368,375
Signed a day after being released by Green Bay, Nelson is third on the Raiders with 22 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns. He had 173 of those yards against Miami and no more than 48 in any other game. Has been sure-handed and a plus in the meeting rooms but not overly productive.
