ALAMEDA– The Oakland Raiders have signed LB Tyrell Adams and LB/DE James Cowser to the active roster from the practice squad, the club announced Saturday. In corresponding moves, the team has released T Matt McCants and waived TE Ryan O’Malley.
Adams joined the Raiders’ practice squad on Oct. 5 following stints with the Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Seahawks in 2015, and spent the 2015 season on the practice squads of the Seahawks and Chiefs. This year, he has also spent time on the Chiefs’ practice squad.
