It’s Week 10 of the NFL with the Raiders taking on the Los Angeles Chargers in Oakland. The Raiders received the ball first in this one, and they provided some excitement with a successful fake punt on their first 4th down of the game. Rookie punter Johnny Townsend trotted 42 yards on the play, the biggest play of their 13 play, 80 yard opening drive. Unfortunately they needed to get 81 yards and fell short of the end zone while going for it on 4th and goal from the 1.
Oakland’s defense forced a 3 and out after the turnover on downs and the Raiders got very favorable field position starting at the OAK 41 after the Chargers punt.
