After a tough win against the Baltimore Ravens in the previous week, the Oakland Raiders didn’t get much love from ESPN, ranking only 28th in the Week 3 edition of their power rankings.
This week, however, the Raiders were bumped up eight spots (to #20 overall) after a road win against the Cleveland Browns.
Here is ESPN’s short blurb on Oakland’s ranking:
“Amari Cooper gained 100 receiving yards in each of his past two games. The last Raider to gain 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games? Randy Moss in 2005.”
The eight spot jump this week is second only to the New York Giants, who moved up 10 spots (#26 to #16) after defeating the Washington Redskins.
