Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is understandably excited about having Marshawn Lynch as his lead back this season.
After a slow start last year, Beast Mode cranked it up over the last six games or so, and was one of the better backs in the league.
Over that last quarter of the season or so, he looked a lot more like the bruising, punishing back that helped the Seattle Seahawks win one title, and come within a yard of a second, when Seattle head coach Pete Carroll made the inexplicable decision to throw to win the game, rather than hand it to Lynch, who would have sealed the deal.
