The Oakland Raiders selected Mike Davis in the second round of the 1977 NFL Draft, nabbing the strong defensive back from the University of Colorado. Davis would be with the Raiders in their move from Oakland to Los Angeles, playing for the team from 1977-1986. In that time, the Raiders won two Super Bowls, and Davis played a big part in them getting to the big game.
Over his tenure with the team, Davis had three huge interceptions, both of which helped the Raiders to two of their Super Bowl titles. In January of 1981, with the Raiders holding on to a 14-12 lead, the Cleveland Browns were driving to score the go-ahead touchdown.
