Ever since the Oakland Raiders drafted Khalil Mack in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft, the edge rusher has become one of the best defensive players in the NFL. Blessed with a rare blend of size and speed, Mack has tormented offensive lines over the past four seasons, and his best football may be in front of him.
This offseason, the Raiders did a lot to help Mack out when it comes to the pass rush, including moving Bruce Irvin to the other edge in a full-time role. In addition, Oakland drafted two defensive tackles in the 2018 NFL Draft, while re-signing Justin Ellis to a three-year extension.
