The Raiders were already shorthanded in the secondary with rookie cornerback Gareon Conley inactive with a shin injury. On the Broncos second series of the game, Amerson made the tackle on a 29-yard reception to AJ Derby. He immediately left the field and was taken to the field to be evaluated for a concussion.

The Broncos took the ball at the 22-yard-line and scored the touchdown on another pass to Derby.

Concussions are becoming a concern for Amerson. He suffered a concussion in the team’s third preseason game and was cleared in time for the season opener.
