With the bye week upon us and the Raiders at 1-5, the plan was to go back and contact some former players I respect to get their take on what’s gone wrong.
What I discovered was there weren’t a lot of takers. It’s understandable. Those with ties to the organization or Jon Gruden don’t want to be perceived as piling on and may have enacted a “if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all” philosophy in what has been so far a train wreck of a season.
