For the first time in 2016 the new Raiders will take the field for Organized Training this week. There have been offseason workouts going on for the past few weeks as well as rookie minicamp, but now's when things start to get interesting.
What makes this week different is it is the first time the team will be permitted to do team sessions, including 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills. No live contact will be permitted.
While it is not mandatory for players to attend yet, most, if not all, on the current roster are expected to attend.
