OAKLAND -- A's utility man Ben Zobrist underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Tuesday in San Francisco, according to the club. Dr. Jon Dickinson performed a debridement of Zobrist's medial meniscus and the veteran is expected to miss four to six weeks.
"Everything went great," manager Bob Melvin said. "As far as timetables go, I don't know about that. I don't know if he'll be here tomorrow or the next day, but Dr. Dickinson said it went as well as we could have hoped.
