Manaea held the Angels to three runs and four hits across six innings Saturday, earning his first win since May 14. The lefty walked one and fanned four. He has a 3.38 ERA in three June starts.
The veteran continues to be the model of consistency, having worked at least six innings in 11 straight starts and producing eight quality starts among those 11. After allowing two homers in all of May, Shields has been touched up for seven in June.
