Welcome back to Weekdays at Bernie's! It's the best dance in the game, so let's get rolling once more!
- Right-hander Jarrod Parker cut his bullpen session short after only twelve pitches, yelling in pain, per Matt Kawahara of the Sacramento Bee. However, the A's are confident he will pitch again, as the injury has been diagnosed as a lateral elbow impingement in a different area from his previous injuries (also per Kawahara). This is still terrible news after all that Parker has been through. For more, check out AN's coverage of the news here.
