He became the first switch-pitcher to appear in a Major League game since Greg Harris in 1995 and is the first full-time switch-pitcher in the modern era (since 1900). Venditte was also 1-0 with a 1.55 ERA and .186 opponents' batting average in 23 games with Nashville.
