Toronto beats A’s despite numerous ejections

TORONTO - The last time the A’s saw umpire Will Little behind the plate, both Bob Melvin and Jed Lowrie were ejected for arguing balls and strikes.

The Blue Jays went one better Thursday in an 8-4, 10-inning win over Oakland on Thursday - Little tossed Toronto manager John Gibbons, starting pitcher Marcus Stroman and catcher Russell Martin all in a matter of moments in the fifth inning. Stoman, incensed, raced to the plate to confront Little and had to be restrained by Martin.
