The biggest bright spot for the Oakland A’s on the baseball field in this final season in the Town has been pitcher Mason Miller. Yesterday the A’s, Miller and Miller’s agent got into an extremely weird tiff as the team’s lone All-Star for this year was placed on the injured list.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, MLB.com beat reporter Martín Gallegos reported that the A’s were placing Miller, their star closer, on the injured list with a fractured bone in his pinkie finger — which the A’s subsequently did a few minutes later.
