Just 20 games remain for the A’s to slide into a prime postseason spot for this 2020 season. Despite the bumps — a few postponed games with a COVID-19 positive test — the A’s are still sitting on a comfortable cushion atop the American League West.
Though the team grew a little rust through the stressful days of solitude, the A’s used the coronavirus-mandated hiatus as a quasi-All-Star break. Some used the time for reflection, and everyone took it as a space to get rejuvenated for a final push.
