Stephen Piscotty shows off flair for dramatic in A's walk-off win vs. Reds

OAKLAND —Stephen Piscotty had not been swinging a hot bat. Far from it.

The A's right fielder had just six hits in his last 46 at-bats when he stepped into the batter's box in the bottom of the 13th inning Wednesday. But Piscotty came through when it counted most, belting a walk-off home run to left field to lead the A's to a 5-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

"I'm trying to drive it," he said of the home run. "I felt really good about that swing. It was a line drive. I wasn't sure that it would get out.
