The Oakland A’s are set for their first road game of the Cactus League spring training season, as they travel to Phoenix to face the Milwaukee Brewers. The A’s are 1-1 so far through their first two contests.
On Tuesday we’ll get another look at a notable right-handed pitching prospect, as sleeper righty Parker Dunshee starts for the A’s. On Sunday, Daulton Jefferies went one inning in his start, and yesterday Grant Holmes worked two, so perhaps we could see multiple frames from Dunshee. He’s a non-roster invitee and not part of the conversation for the 2021 Opening Day squad, but he should settle in as a promising depth arm in Triple-A as he continues his quest to reach the majors.
