It’s Jesús Luzardo Day!
The lefty phenom makes his second start of the spring for the Oakland A’s, after tossing four hitless innings in his Cactus League debut last week. In that game he unveiled his Turkey Sub slow curveball for the first time, and it was glorious.
The A’s initially had Ramon Laureano in their lineup in center field, but he was scratched due to a sore left side, reports Melissa Lockard of The Athletic. Chad Pinder subs in, playing LF, with a few defensive adjustments around the field.
