Though there’s little clarity involving the A’s and their hopes for a new ballpark, Oakland mayor Libby Schaaf expressed optimism about the dialogue she’s having with the team to make sure it remains in Oakland.
Schaaf appeared on “Sports Talk Live” Tuesday and fielded questions from CSN Bay Area’s Ray Ratto and the Bay Area News Group’s Tim Kawakami regarding both the A’s and Raiders.
“The exciting thing for me is that the A's, for the first time, have very publicly stated that they are focused on staying in Oakland, and that their energies are focused on an Oakland ballpark.
