When Tyler Ladendorf made the A’s roster out of spring training a year ago, it was seen as a surprise, but not by Ladendorf.
If he makes the roster out of spring training this year, even he might be surprised.
“Last year you could kind of see it coming,’’ Ladendorf, a shortstop by trade who can play all over the infield and outfield. “Josh Reddick and Coco (Crisp) were hurting and probably going to start on the disabled list. There were spots me and Billy Burns had a chance to make it last spring.’’
That’s not the case this time around.
