After one season in Oakland, Ike Davis is moving on to a new AL West team.
The 28-year-old will sign a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers, according to MLB Network's Jon Heyman.
In his only season with the A's, Davis played in 74 games. He hit .229/.301/.350 with 17 doubles, three home runs and 20 RBI.

Davis' 2015 season came to an end in August when he underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left hip.
