Q&A with Ramón Laureano: Th A’s outfielder discusses his highs, team lows and expectations

MESA, Ariz. — Ramón Laureano rarely rests. If he’s on the field, or anywhere near one, he’s in full adrenaline mode. After a breakout season — hitting .288 with 24 home runs in an injury-mired 123 games in 2019 — Laureano took a bit of a breather, and hung out with his elderly Chihuahuas back at home in the Dominican Republic.

Now, he’s back in Bob’s office, on the field, and ready to play already. He stopped to answer some questions, too.
