New details have emerged on what exactly happened when Oakland A’s catcher Bruce Maxwell was arrested on Saturday, including the allegation that he was inebriated and making anti-police statements.
Maxwell is accused of pointing a handgun at a food delivery driver’s head while opening the door at his Scottsdale, Arizona, home and then lowering the gun against the wall after receiving the food from the female delivery driver, according to a court document that was acquired by ABC15 in Arizona.
The driver immediately called the police when she got back to her car, and when Scottsdale police arrived at Maxwell’s residence, they believed the catcher displayed signs of alcohol intoxication.
