A Tim Hudson-Barry Zito pitching matchup could become a reality with the latter being recalled on Wednesday and the Giants heading to Oakland at the end of the month.
The friends and former aces have made huge impacts on the A's and the Giants over the years. Hudson and Zito both enjoyed the prime of their careers with the A's in the 2000s -- teaming with Mark Mulder to form "The Big Three" -- before helping the Giants win World Series titles in 2012 (Zito) and 2014 (Hudson).
But while these veteran hurlers are two of the bigger names to suit up for the both squads, there have been many others -- 79 in total, according to BaseballReference.
