Heading into 2019, the A’s again have major questions about their starting rotation. Last season, they were able to piece together a rotation good enough to reach the AL Wild Card Game, but it’ll be a big task to do it again.
There’s also the more existential concern of how the Athletics will be able to move into the future with the possibility of a new stadium in Oakland.
Two areas where the A’s know their cards are the bullpen and third base, and as long as those spots remain solid, Oakland will be figuring out the rest from a position of strength.
