OAKLAND -- The Oakland A's reinstated infielder/outfielder Chad Pinder from the 10-day disabled list and optioned right-handed pitchers Ryan Dull and J.B. Wendelken and infielder Franklin Barreto to Triple-A Nashville, the club announced today. Right-handed pitchers Shawn Kelley and Mike Fiers, who were acquired in trades on Sunday and Monday respectively, join the A's tonight.
Pinder was batting .259 with 10 home runs and 23 RBI in 71 games when he was placed on the 10-day DL July 29 retroactive to July 28 with a left elbow laceration.
