The full squad is finally here in Arizona for the Oakland Athletics. After days of pitchers and catchers, outfielders and infielders team reported to spring training.
Matt Chapman, Marcus Semien, Matt Olson and newcomer Tony Kemp were all at Lew Wolff Training Complex. The squad worked on a series of drills focused on their fielding skills.
Outfielder Khris Davis and several others worked on their batting, too.
The team will continue to practice ahead of their opening spring game versus the Chicago Cubs at 1:05 p.m. Feb. 22 at Sloan Park in Mesa, Arizona. Spring training will last nearly five weeks and cap off with the annual Bay Bridge Series against the San Francisco Giants March 23 and March 24.
