Oakland A’s manager Bob Melvin has sold his home in Berkeley, Calif. for $3 million.
The Mediterranean-style five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath home is nestled in the Berkeley Hills. It features a wine cellar, a stair tower with 140-year-old iron railings, and a separate guesthouse, among many other amenities. Melvin purchased the home in 2013 for $2.3 million, according to public records.
Paul Zuvella with Better Homes and Gardens was the listing agent.
Melvin, who led the A’s to a 97-65 record and their first playoff appearance since 2014, was named the Sporting News’ American League Manager of the Year last week.
