That’s the same Phillies owner John Middleton who was instrumental in ripping the A’s from Oakland and helping notorious owner John Fisher to not be “accountable” to his fans or his city. Middleton was one of three owners on MLB’s relocation committee last year who put together a report on a potential A’s move to Las Vegas that, once shared with MLB’s 30 owners, led to the group unanimously approving Fisher’s exodus from Oakland.
