MESA, Ariz. -- A's right-hander Jarrod Parker will meet with Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning to undergo X-rays and a CT scan on his injured right elbow.
Parker refractured the medial epicondyle in his elbow last week, the same injury he suffered a year ago.
The 27-year-old pitcher has not pitched in a Major League game since 2013 due to injuries. In addition to the elbow fractures, Parker has also had Tommy John surgery twice.
After learning of his injury, the A's gave Parker some time to consult with his family and doctors and were not expecting him to return to camp until Monday.
