OAKLAND -- These pesky A's just won't go quietly into the night.
Oakland has posted comeback win after comeback win this year, but this one -- against the Astros, the division leaders and the best bullpen in baseball, consummated by a seemingly endless review -- was perhaps the wildest of them all. And all of a sudden, after Matt Olson's 10th-inning walk-off homer sealed an improbable 4-3 victory, the A's are once again within a game of the division lead.
With one out in the ninth and the A's down by a run, Nick Martini lined a double down the right-field line, and A's third-base coach Matt Williams furiously waved home pinch-runner Ramon Laureano, sprinting all the way home from first.
