SEATTLE -- Matt Olson's first career grand slam highlighted the A's six-run outburst in the fifth inning of Wednesday's series finale in Seattle.
It was the 29th home run of the season for Olson, an ongoing career high, and followed an intentional walk to baseball's home run leader, Khris Davis. Right-hander Chasen Bradford was responsible, after inheriting a pair of baserunners from starter Felix Hernandez.
Bradford surrendered an RBI single to Marcus Semien, who homered off Hernandez in the opening frame, and a Jed Lowrie groundball put runners on second and third, leading the Mariners to put Davis on the open base.
