Oakland Athletics Roundup: Andrew Lambo Homers; Ryan Dull Keeps His Cool

The Athletics took home a victory on Sunday, defeating the San Diego Padres in a 6-5 win at Peoria. The scoring started off with a two-run home run to center field in the fourth inning, courtesy of outfielder Andrew Lambo.

Lambo is in camp with the A’s for the first time, hoping to win a job on the major league roster. He previously struggled to earn a spot with the Pittsburgh Pirates, spending the majority of his time with the Triple-A Indianapolis Indians. He had two hits on Sunday.

Chris Bassitt walked one and struck out a batter in his two scoreless innings of work, but it was Ryan Dull who had perhaps the most interesting performance.
