The Oakland Athletics hold the 26th overall selection in the first round of the 2020 MLB Draft. By that point, most of the projected top end talent will be selected, but that does not mean the A’s will not find a star. Any draft is an inexact science; the MLB Draft even more so, especially this year.
According to the most recent mock draft on MLB.com, the A’s are projected to select Louisville right hander Bobby Miller. Miller had already been drafted before, selected by the Orioles in the 38th round of the 2017 MLB Draft before heading off to college.
