With the end of AAA Nashville's season last night, the A's took the opportunity to call up two major prospects: Matt Olson and Renato Nunez.

Matt Olson, the A's #3 preseason prospect according to the community, hit .235/.335/.422 with 17 HRs in 540 plate appearances. However, he got better as the season went on, hitting .254/.345/.449 over the last three months. He also mashes RHP, hitting .256/.356/.475 against it for the season. He plays right field and first base, and will be taking Billy Butler's open 40-man roster spot.
