The Oakland Athletics have signed former Chicago White Sox outfielder Dayan Viciedo, according to a tweet by Baseball America's Matt Eddy:

The Chicago White Sox released Viciedo in early February after signing Gordon Beckham. The A's had been rumored to be interested in Viciedo around that time, but he signed with the Toronto Blue Jays on a minor league deal.
