After losing Aaron Brooks and Sean Nolin to trades and waivers the last couple of weeks, the Oakland Athletics are a little less deep in the rotation, but they've still got plenty of room to fall.
Let's revisit an article on the A's rotation depth I wrote on December 21, 2015, after the Henderson Alvarez signing was announced. I had noted that the A's had good rotation depth despite only having two pitchers in their projected starting rotation to have thrown more than 150 innings in 2015. The A's rotation was fail-safe.
Since then, the A's have traded away Aaron Brooks and lost Sean Nolin to waivers.
