I admit it: I recently got annoyed enough to respond to a random person on Twitter.

I know that's what Twitter is technically for, but I genuinely try to avoid any tit-for-tat exchanges. There's no point. You can correct the record or, alternatively, epically own somebody else, and the end result is the same: No one cares and no one gleans anything substantive.

PSA: I don't mind explaining/repeating that the Chronicle & SFGATE are completely diff publications operating independently of each other (it's confusing!
