The 2020 season was a disaster for Khris Davis. After his horrendous ending to 2019, the hope was that he would find his form once again in the shortened season. Instead, Davis struggled to the point where he only played just 11 games in September despite the A’s brutal schedule to end the season.
He did show some promise in that time. Davis started to look like himself again, with eight hits, including three doubles and a homer, in his 32 plate appearances. He drew four walks and struck out only seven times, showing hope that he was about to return to form.
