Andrew Triggs turned in another solid outing for the A’s, allowing five hits, two runs and two walks with four strikeouts in five innings. Triggs looked good before exiting in the sixth inning, giving way to Ryan Buchter who pitched a scoreless sixth.
The seventh inning was where it all went wrong for the Athletics.
