The Oakland Athletics have been playing MC hammers’ New Jack Swing song, ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’ in the 8th inning during the past few seasons. The song has been a hit with A’s fans as it gets them pumped up while dancing and using hand signs to emulate ‘2 Legit 2 Quit’. The song is in accordance to the Athletics stating they will not give up the game and they will never quit. This song is played at every home game and does not matter if the A’s are winning or losing.
MC Hammer, whose real name is Stanley Burrell, has been apart of the Oakland Athletics since he was a young kid in ’71.
