The A's continued their frequent use of the disabled list Friday, putting infielder Jed Lowrie and pitcher Jesse Hahn on there because of foot and shoulder injuries, respectively.
Lowrie has a bunion on his left foot that was causing him to struggle at the plate, where he was 1-for-20 over his last five games. He's hitting .263 with two homers and 27 RBIs in 87 games. He also was on the DL in May because of a right shin contusion.Hahn, diagnosed with a strained right shoulder, has been a huge disappointment this season with a 2-4 record and 6.
