The Oakland Athletics are proceeding with caution regarding left-hander Rich Hill, who landed on the disabled list last week with a mild groin strain.
Hill told John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group that it will probably be two more weeks before he comes off the DL. “They don't want to rush it, and neither do I. Let's get it right and then we won't have to worry about this anymore,” Hill said.
The timing of the southpaw’s return will be pivotal given his escalating trade value as the Aug.
