SEATTLE - One of the early hallmark of the A’s this year was the team’s ability to pile up homers on the road.
Even as Oakland got on a hot streak in June and found many other fun storylines en route to a wild-card spot, the road power factored often, and Wednesday night, the A’s hit four. The damage in a 9-3 victory over Seattle included a grand slam by Matt Olson and Khris Davis’ major-league leading 47th home run; with three games remaining, he still has a shot to finish with 50.
