NEW YORK - First baseman-outfielder Matt Olson, who is becoming the A’s most-traveled player this season, rejoined the team Friday along with right-hander Frankie Montas.
Olson and Montas needed a little extra time though: Their flight out of Des Moines, Iowa, was canceled Thursday night so they had to fly to New York on Friday morning.
Olson, 23. gives the A’s an extra bat off the bench during a series at a National League park, as the team goes to a four-man bench after using just three most of the season.
