ANAHEIM — The A’s lineup is already dangerous as it currently stands. But if Marcus Semien can start hitting like this again, there’s no telling how much of a boost that would be in these final two months of the playoff push.
After a power drought that lasted nearly two months, Semien busted out with two home runs in Saturday’s 7-0 victory over the Angels.
Semien’s three-run homer to put the A’s (69-48) ahead 4-0 in the second off Tyler Skaggs was the shortstop’s first home run since June 17, which also came against the Angels back at the Coliseum.
